Glory at Oman Tech Awards

OHI Leo Burnett won four coveted awards across multiple categories at the Oman Tech Awards held recently. The agency’s digital practice amassed 2 silver and 2 bronze awards for its work on websites in the Corporate, Media, and Tourism categories.

“The agency takes pride in the wins, as we got shortlists on 4 entries out of the 5 best pieces of work we entered. Our digital practice is anchored on the belief that ‘content informs design’. All our work is underpinned on the content strategy, which is the basis for the website design and how it is presented to the audience. We lay emphasis on the information more than the design and technology which makes our work effective” said Narayan Iyer, GM OHI Leo Burnett.

“These awards reiterate our belief that creativity has the power to transform behaviour,” he added. Commenting on the win, Ammar Al Saleh, Vice Chairman, OHI Group, said, “The digital division of the agency is a young unit, and I am pleased that they achieved this recognition in their first year of operations. I am sure the awards will motivate both our teams and also clients to do more and do better for the next year.”

The agency has been expanding its digital offerings in the areas of social media, mobile applications and other ways to be part of the customer journey in the digital space. The Oman Tech Awards has been instituted under the patronage of the Information Technology Authority of Oman (eOman).
